Pandera Corporate Beliefs: #7

Our organization shares a common focus, purpose, and core values that we believe is the greatest determining factor to our success. It’s our principles and beliefs that foster an innovative, collaborative culture and attracts clients who share many of the same values.

Pandera corporate belief #7 states “We understand our results are our customer’s flag, not ours.”  Why is this principle important to our team and our clients? Greg Arndall, Senior Director of Strategy & Growth, explains “We strive to be the best, and we’re proud of our innovative methodology and EDA applications that improve business performance. However, our role is as a strategic partner and advisor, the products delivered and remarkable outcomes achieved should be a source of pride for our clients, as they provide the essential vision, commitment and support. We fly our customer’s flag when we reference their successes.”

Pandera corporate beliefs: #15

Our organization shares a common focus, purpose, and core values that we believe is the greatest determining factor to our success. It’s  our principles and beliefs that foster an innovative, collaborative culture and attracts clients who share many of the same values.

Joshua Sutton, Senior Director of Solution Strategy, helps us understand the importance of belief #15; “We are an ideation and product company. Our minds are our weapons, our bodies are tools, OUR PEOPLE are our assets, and diversity is our strength.”  Joshua explains “It’s important for our organization and our clients to know the primary reason we exist, and what makes us successful. Pandera deploys experts in many areas of business and technology on a variety of initiatives, each team member contributes specific talents and ideas to achieve the project’s unique objectives. While we provide many services to support sustainable success, this particular belief speaks to the most valuable assets and deliverables we offer clients; our talented people, our willingness to take a different approach, and our innovative products. What we do is not easy, every situation presents numerous challenges, and it takes bright minds and persistence from Pandera and our customers to drive measurable results”.

Predictive analytics for police not “Minority Report”… yet

Law enforcement agencies are testing the use of risk terrain modeling to predict and reduce crime, the approach takes an area and blends its history of crime with data on local behavioral and physical characteristics to create a map of locations with the greatest crime risk. Whereas traditional hot-spotting approach focuses mainly on the historical concentration of crime, risk terrain modeling examines the factors that contribute to this concentration and helps police officers predict where new hot spots could arise.  Click this link http://www.govtech.com/public-safety/Predicting-Crime-Using-Analytics-and-Big-Data.html to view the article on govtech.com.
