The MicroStrategy World after party, hosted by Pandera and MicroStrategy
We always say nobody parties like BI professionals, and year after year, you prove us right! If you haven’t been to one of our previous MicroStrategy World parties, you’ve probably heard enough about them to know you won’t want to miss it. Pandera and MicroStrategy have teamed up to ROCK your WORLD with live music, and of course, an open bar. This year, the party is at Bobby McKeys and Cadillac Ranch (side by side venues), right across the street from the MicroStrategy World conference center. Join the party and be prepared for a night of live entertainment, and of course, an open bar.
Your complimentary tickets are waiting for you with the Pandera team at booth #301. We look forward to seeing you on the 2nd night of MicroStrategy World (Wednesday, April 19, at 9 PM) for a night we guarantee you’ll remember!
In addition to hosting the Carolinas MicroStrategy User Group Meeting in July, Pandera will also be sponsoring the highly anticipated London leg of the MicroStrategy Symposium Tour, featuring all the latest in big data analytics, data visualization, dashboard design, mobile app development, and more. The agenda is packed with content designed to help you discover and unlock the full potential of MicroStrategy 10.
The full-day event will be completely jam-packed with keynote presentations, industry-specific sessions, hands-on workshops that dive deep into enterprise data discovery, customer-led sessions showcasing how leading companies drive performance with MicroStrategy, and technical sessions that feature the latest platform features and functionality.
Join us in Charlotte, NC on July 13 at Knight Theater, Wells Fargo Auditorium for the Carolinas MicroStrategy User Group Meeting. MicroStrategy customer speakers will be sharing their experience and knowledge, sharing their valuable success stories and learnings. With the recent announcement of the new MicroStrategy 10.4, a hot topic will be the new features and enhancements available. Pandera partner Paxata will be presenting their interactive, self-service adaptive data preparation solution.
The meeting will conclude with roundtable break out discussions for Big Data / Hadoop, MicroStrategy V10 upgrade experiences, Mobile, SDK, and MicroStrategy Training.
Directly following the event, there will be a reception, where you can connect and mingle with other MicroStrategy users, partners, and your account reps over cocktails and hors d’oeuvres. (more…)
If a picture is worth a thousand words, one can imagine what the strategic use of good data visualization is worth in analytical toolsets. Data visualizations tell a more complete story in a dashboard than simply displaying raw data, so it’s important to use them effectively to support business objectives and data-driven decision making. Data visualizations should always simplify and clarify information, and be presented within the context of the user’s workflow, while avoiding confusing the viewer or leading to mistaken data interpretation.
Pandera’s Visual Sciences & Innovation team has released a whitepaper covering understanding the dashboard’s users, choosing the right visualization types, optimizing typography, and using colors strategically to tell a story through data. We’ve even included some examples of common dashboard design patterns to help you get started!
As a platinum-level sponsor at MicroStrategy World, Pandera is recognized as an innovator in the business intelligence community for leading the way in proven new developments and trends that continue to re-shape the way businesses interact with data.
With that focus on innovation and our constant commitment to the evolution of business intelligence in mind, we’re excited to announce the topic of our featured keynote session at MicroStrategy World, presented by Ryan Redmann: Build the Brain For Your Business: Simple Steps Toward Systems That Think.
Like they always say, nobody parties like a BI professional. This year, Pandera is hosting MicroStrategy World’s hottest private party at ICON, South Beach’s most anticipated new nightclub. Once again, we’ve brought in live after-hours entertainment to help you wind down after the conference and enjoy Miami’s nightlife. Join the party and be prepared to rock the night away with a live band, DJ, dancers, red carpet photography, and of course, an open bar.
We are excited to be a MicroStrategy World Platinum Partner again for 2016. Pandera is looking forward to sharing our latest developments and new trends that will continue to re-shape the way businesses interact with data. Traditional BI often leads to more questions than answers, so Pandera is leading the way in developing intelligent business solutions that use algorithmic process automation, applied statistics, and user-oriented design to generate actionable insights at a depth, frequency, scale, and accuracy that is impossible with human-driven analysis. We’re looking forward to telling you all about it at MicroStrategy World, booth #100, and at our featured speaking track: Track 6, Session 2 – Tuesday at 2:15pm.
Pandera currently has open positions for UI/UX Designers and Front-End Developers within our rapidly-growing team. See below for role summaries, and if it sounds like we’re describing you, apply online with the provided links – we’d love to talk to you about joining our High Performance Network!
MicroStrategy users and developers will recognize this challenge instantly: create documents for desktop web, create documents for tablets, create documents for mobile phones, and then struggle to keep each of them individually updated and maintain identical functionality across all platforms as enhancements are released. The documents created for mobile phones were optimized for the latest iPhone 6, and are nearly unusable to users with an iPhone 4 or a Samsung Galaxy S III Mini. The documents created for tablets were optimized for Microsoft Surface 3’s larger screen size, and will bleed off the edge of the screen if the user tries to access it from an iPad Mini. To make things worse, each of these documents needs to be edited by different developers independently each time there is a change request, while somehow maintaining consistency. What if it didn’t have to be so complicated? (more…)
Join us in Charlotte, NC on September 30th at The Ritz-Carlton for the Carolinas MicroStrategy User Group Meeting. MicroStrategy customer speakers will be sharing their experience and knowledge. We will also be covering MicroStrategy 10, and Pandera’s own Josh Sutton will be discussing PIG scripting with Hadoop and Visual Insight. The meeting will conclude with vertical break outs for Healthcare and Retail, as well as one-on-one sessions available to answer any questions you may have about SDK, MicroStrategy training, or Big Data. Several lucky attendees will also walk away with free iPads.
Directly following the meeting, there will be a beer and wine reception, where you can connect and mingle with other MicroStrategy users, partners, and your account reps over drinks. (more…)
